A little teaser and some of my favorite cuties!

Ok first,I couldn't narrow my favorite pics down from my two mini sessions with some of my best friends, so those pics are in the below posts, too many to cram into this one! LOL.

Second, for those of you that dont know, we just moved into a new house, (still inTopeka) and I am finally feeling settled in. I am super excited to be here with enough time to prepare for baby! We are on a count-down of less than 6 weeks till delivery, probably much closer to 4 than 6 actually, so I am trying to get alot done before he comes!

And last but not least...I have a BIG announcement to make! But not quite yet.... (how is that for a teaser!)

With the coming of baby number 3 for me BellaRay Photography will be going through a few major changes. I think that the majority of you will find them to be for the better too!

I will have a more limited schedule, but by setting normal "business hours" and having one set price it will save alot of you some of your hard earned $$. (we all could use more of that in our pockets now can't we!)But I will also be working on a schedule that better fits my family and simplifying my workflow, so WIN / WIN!

Wesley 2 Years!

Ok, this is Wesley! I have had the pleasure of photographing this little guy since he was brand new! In fact I even got to take his Mommy and Daddy's wedding pics! How fun is that? I cannot believe he is almost 2. I went to see his mommy (my good friend) and we ran outside to brave the 18 degree weather (which felt even colder because of the wind!) we only lasted maybe 15 minutes but were able to capture alot of this happy little guys personality! Isn't he just the sweetest little thing!?

Eli 6 Months!

I cannot believe that this little guy is 6 months already! This is my best friends baby boy and I am in LOVE with him!! I realized that I hadn't even picked up my "real" camera for almost a month because of the move and set out to take a few snaps of a few of my dearest friends this week, what I got in the few minutes I took with each i think you will agree are pretty darling!

These were just on his mommy's kitchen floor with some sweet window light coming in to brighten up his beautiful brown eyes! dont you just want to squeeze him!?? Ok, enough talk, here we go!

So here is our personal news....

TA DA!

Yup, that is right, we are expecting baby number THREE! This was quite a suprise, but one we are very excited to welcome into the family at the end of April!

Ok, so a little disclamer, this IS me, but is isn't what I look like currently. This was my last pregnancy only 16 short months ago! My hair was longer and I look about this size now and still have 3 months to go! :-)

Jumping back in!

Sorry for the LONG overdue post! I have been busy with sessions, and family and have LOTS of fun stuff in store for 2009!!!!

We will be offering a few select portrait parties this coming year, so contact me if you want to host one! First to choose the dates get it!

We are Back!!

Well we have been back for a couple days actually and I am still playing catch-up!
I SHOULD have everyone that sent email's or called, called back, so if you think you left a message and havn't heard from me, I didn't get it! Please call me again and we can chat!

I'm Leavin' On a Jet Plane...

Just wanted to write and let you all know that I am leaving on a Much needed, and Much anticipated vacation! Hooray!

Sweet little Baby Boy!

I just Loved capturing these first days of little Soda's life! Isn't he just a doll!?!

I got to photograph his Mommy and Daddy for a maternity session and I was super excited to hear I would get to do the newborn ones too! It was a beautiful day and we used all natural light for these! It is always fun to get to play around with the beautiful natural light and I couldn't have chosen a better little subject! I had a hard time choosing favorites to post for the sneek peek, so hope you Enjoy!!

Back on Track

Just a quick note to let everyone know that I have been sick the past week and if you are waiting to hear back from me I am returning emails, and phone calls as fast as I can! Today was the first day I have been feeling more like normal and it is currently just after 4am and I haven't gone to bed yet and I havent even made a dent in my "to-do because your Way behind" list ;-), so bear with me, we will be back on track soon! My Girls!

So here are a few recent pictures of my girls! These were Jaylee's 6 month photos and it took all of like 2 minutes to get like 20 perfect shots, she is my little angel when it comes to photos! (although Kayt was the same way when she was little too..) Then I decided that I wanted to go for "That Shot!" you know the one of all your kids together, looking perfectly at the camera so you can blow it up on a Huge canvas for your wall? Well I tried, and this is what I came up with! (hey, my children do suffer from the dreaded "photographer's child syndrome" where they are just sick of having a camera in their face all the time! LOL.)

Gotta LOVE a 2 year old! With a little PS magic though I did a little head-swap and think I got one that I can use, I ordered a new purse with the picture on it and it turned out Great! Ask to see it when you come for your session, they make great gifts too!

Here is the Beautiful Couple that I had the pleasure of photographing in Beautiful Los Angeles!!
The day was gorgeous and like 75 degrees! The sky really was THAT blue and yes, Marissa really is THAT beautiful! Jay you are one lucky man! Here is your sneak peek of some taken at the temple, they also had a beautiful ring ceremony and fun reception with lots of Yummy food and a Maraichi Band! (probably spelled that wrong!) I had the pleasure of photographing these two adorable sisters the other day. I have done Audrey's pictures before, but this was my first time meeting miss Lucy! Arn't they both just so adorable! If you saw mamma you would know why! It is always tough getting two together, but add in a 1 year old and it is quite the feat! LOL. The biggest things are that the Contact page is currently NOT working! So if you need to get ahold of me, please send a direct email to amber.johanson@yahoo.com!

Second, is that on the text pages the arrows to scroll down are not visible, so if you have a mouse with a scroll button you will have to use that for now, there are more words there!

And the last major issue is that once you are in the actual site there isn't a link to the blog, so you will have to go back to the splash page or just type it in.

Hopefully all these things will be fixed soon, but I have to focus on finishing a few big projects first so please bear with me!

Also I will soon have a wedding and senior section with examples for you to see, so check back often! And I have several exciting new things in the works for 2008, and I will announce those here!

Sweet Sweet Baby

Just look at this sweet little angel!

Julianna was less than 1 week old when I got to get these images of her sweet little face!

She was super alert and wide awake most of the time, but I was able to get a few good shots in of her sleeping!

I know mom's family lives out of the country and I hope that they can get to see this little sneak peek of their first little grandbaby!

Portrait Party!

OK, So we had our first ever Portrait Party last saturday and we had a wonderful turnout of 14 beautiful babies!

All the mini sessions are edited, and I am just waiting on my tech support to help work out a few kinks in my online ordering system. (they are away on a much deserved holiday!) Believe me I am just as excited for you all to see your proofs so you can bet that they will be up just as soon as possible! I think you will be just as suprised as I was with how many great shots we were able to get in just 15 minutes!
